AMHA's Recreation programming offers low commitment, low cost hockey to players who are starting their hockey journey. This program, for players aged 7 to 14, offers an option for athletes that want to try hockey but don’t have the time to commit to multiple games or practices a week. Additionally, it's a great place to develop the minimum skills required to join additional AMHA programming. The Recreation program includes a 1 hr game session per week on Sunday afternoons and some other fun social activities throughout the season. There are no additional mandatory expenses beyond registration. Full hockey gear is required for all sessions and a jersey will be provided. Some goalie gear is avaialable, if your player is interested in trying the goalie position.
