Please accept this as notice of the Airdrie Minor Hockey Association Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on Wednesday, May 14^th, 2025, at 7:00 PM at the Airdrie Curling Club, 275 Jensen Dr NE, Airdrie, AB T4B 1P7.

                AGM Registration

Who: Meeting is open to all members in good standing with AMHA. Each member, in good standing and in attendance will get 1 vote per family, regardless of the number of children in the program. 

Why: Order of Business, including:

• Adopting the agenda
• Adopting the 2024 AGM meeting minutes
• Intro and Acknowledgement of current Board
• Review of the financial statements
• Review of Member Questions
• President’s report
• Election for new Board Members

AGM QUESTION PERIOD

AMHA members are asked to submit any questions, comments and/or concerns here prior to the AGM.  These questions will be answered during the AGM by the Executive Committee.

Questions outside of those submitted will not be accepted during the AGM meeting. 

Questions received after May 6, 2025 will not be accepted. 

ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS

An overview of each volunteer position can be found on the AMHA website under the Information - AGM tab here. This page will provide you with the general responsibilities for each of the board roles. Additionally, you can speak to a current board member to get their feedback on the demands of the positions.

If there is only one person interested in a particular role then they will be given the role by acclamation.  

If there are more than one person interested in a role then the membership in attendance at the AGM meeting will vote electronically for those positions.

Nominations received after May 6^th, 2025 will not be accepted. 

The deadline to get your Questions and/or Nominations or Expressions of Interest into AMHA is May 6^th, 2025.
