Airdrie Minor Hockey Association (AMHA) would like to invite all of our members to our 2022 Annual General Meeting on May 17, 2022 at 7:00 pm via Zoom meeting video conferencing.
What: Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM)
When: Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 7:00 pm
Where: Zoom Video Conference (Details to follow closer to the date).
RSVP to: carol@airdriehockey.com or officeadmin@airdriehockey.com by May 10, 2022 to confirm your attendance to the AGM.
Please provide us with the email that you want the Zoom invite to go to and your player(s) names.
Who: Meeting is open to all members in good standing with AMHA. Each member, in good standing and in attendance will get 1 vote per family, regardless of the number of children in the program.

Please review the current 2020 Bylaws and the new proposed 2022 Bylaws via the website.
AGM QUESTION PERIOD
AMHA members are asked to submit any questions, comments and/or concerns here. These questions will be answered during the AGM by the Executive Committee.
Questions outside of those submitted will not be accepted during the AGM Meeting.
ELECTION OF BOARD MEMBERS
Please review the overview of each volunteer position on the AMHA website under the Information - AGM tab here to give you an idea of the responsibilities for each of the board roles or speak to a current board member to get their feedback on the demands of the positions.
A Nomination or Expression of Interest form is accessible here.
The deadline to get your Questions and/or Nominations or Expressions of Interest into AMHA is May 10, 2022.
If there is only one person interested in a particular role then they will be given the role by acclamation.
If there are more than one person interested in a role then the membership in attendance at the AGM meeting will vote electronically for those positions.
Nominations received after May 10, 2022 will not be accepted.
AMHA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE POSITIONS:
President
Vice President 1 - Admin
Vice President 2 - High Performance
Vice President 3 - Travel
Vice President 4 - City
Please note that our Bylaws currently state that in order to be considered for the role of President, the nominee must have served one full term as a member of the Executive Committee in the previous year. In the event that no Executive Committee members are able to put their name forward then any Board of Director first or Operations Committee member second will be eligible for nomination to the role of President.
No person is eligible to be elected as a Vice President unless that person has served one term as a member of the Board of Directors first or Operations Committee member secondly.
In the event that none of these requirements can be met for an Executive Committee role then any member will be eligible to run.

Note that no person is eligible to be elected Director unless that person has been a member of the Operations Committee for the previous year.
