Genesis Place will be implementing the Restriction Exemption Program effective September 20, 2021.
Faced with the same difficult choice as other businesses, choosing the Restriction Exemption Program rather than a 1/3 capacity means more of our citizens can stay active in recreation and culture opportunities. https://www.alberta.ca/covid-
19-public-health-actions.aspx As of September 20th, anyone coming into Genesis Place or any of our arenas will need to show proof of at least one dose of vaccination, a negative test result from a rapid test within the last 72 hours or proof of a medical exemption. After October 25, proof of two vaccination doses will be required.

As the full details on this program are released by Alberta Health, we expect information on restrictions will be further clarified and evolve over the coming weeks.
Most importantly, we know this is a divisive topic. We understand not everyone will agree. But we thank you in advance for your patience and your kindness to our staff who have not chosen to implement these restrictions but who are asked to help enforce them.
